iihe Hawk hears from Former LGV driver Mike Donovan who is making a a 30-day, 900mile charity walk to raise money for sufferers of viral meningitis. Mike was inspired to do this after a bout of the illness in 1995 left him with epilepsy and unable to continue his job driving For a soft drinks company in Chester. His walk begins at John o'Groats on 2 July and culminates at Land's End on 24 August after an average 30 miles a day. "I am appealing for hauliers and drivers to help me reach my target of £10,000 in sponsorship," says Mike. All money raised will go to the Meningitis Research Foun-dation, which needs
