He drove a 70 year old Marshall steamroller, used a 1936 Bedford from which to give his speech and was given a tour of the site in a 1914 Tilling Stevens petrol electric open-topped double -decker. The bus is being used regularly to take visitors around the museum, just as the steam _ roller is used VIIA; -: to maintain the site's roads. And the lorry? That, too, is in use to move equipment and supplies around the museum. It's all enough to warm the heart of an old haulier...
