The points are as follows: Reversing lamps should not made mandatory for corn?rcial vehicles.
Rear fog lamps should be mdatory, and should be fitd and used in matching irs.
Revision of the positioning guirements for rear lamps is visable to move them closer the edge of the vehicle.
End outline market lamps r wide vehicles should not be ade compulsory.
The requirements for flectors and reflective arkers should be reviewed. le use of markers should be igned solely to the length or idth of vehicles, and they ould be redesigned to better it that purpose.
Provision of standardised 11-tale (monitor) systems to :commodate individual ;hting circuits should be andatory.
The working party is to go to look at technical aspects rear lighting such as 24 or !v bulbs, earth return on ailers, and tractor/trailer mnections.
