I think truck manufacturers get a lot of abuse thrown at them and I would like to change this by thanking these manufacturers of trucks, trailers and bodies for the help they gave my in my project, by sending me information.
They are, namely: MAN, Dyson Trailers, ERF, Shelvoke and Drewry, Fiat, Magirus-Deutz, York Trailer, Locomotors, Leyland (who sent me very interesting information), Saviem, Dobson Hydraulics (H. Simpson, sales manager), and Seddon Atkinson Vehicles, to name but a few.
I would also like to thank, particularly for their personal letters Mrs Dicker, assistant to the sales promotion manager, Scania (GB) Ltd, and J. H. Dealy, commercial sales administrator for a Bedford distributor.
I am very sorry I could not mention everybody's name.
