Scottish haulier Les Brodie Transport is being relaunched after collapsing with debts running into hundreds of thousands of pounds at the end of last month.
A new company, thought to be called LBT Logistics, will continue with haulage, van hire and vehicle maintenance but the parcels delivery operation is being axed with the loss of 10 jobs.
A spokesman for Blair Nimmo, the receiver from KPMC, says Brodie ran into cashf low problems when it took on a parcels distribution franchise with Hellman Parcels.
The main supporters of the rescue package are said to be finance companies which funded the company's van hire fleet and its 30 tractors.
