VOLVO TRUCKS now has a used truck presence in the South East following the opening of a Used Truck Centre in Hythe, Kent.
Volvo Trucks used trucks director Peter Groome says previously there was no formal presence in the South East, as Kent-based independent franchise dealer MC Truck & Bus was one of a few dealers that didn’t have a used truck branch. The partnership between Volvo Trucks and MC Truck & Bus sees the manufacturer move onto the existing Hythe site.
Sales have started well, says Groome. “Enquiry levels are exceeding expectations,” he adds.
MD of MC Truck and Bus Simon Dawson says the facility adds considerable value to the range of services. “We’re delighted to have opened the Volvo Used Truck Centre on the existing MC Truck and Bus site at Hythe. It extends our customer offer to include used trucks and provides customers access to quality vehicles,” he says. ■
