• Thermo King has launched an extension to its MD range of fridge units, aimed at trucks between Sm and 7.5m In length.
The company claims that both the MD-200 and the MD300 consume signincaritly less fuel than comparable rivals. And with fuel consumption contributing approximately 40% of the total life cost of a temperature-controlled system, this could lead to significant savings.
Using two high output belt-driven fans in conjunction with Thermo King's Smart Reefer System, the units eliminate the risk of short cycle airflow, where the cold air may not reach the goods at the rear of the cargo space.
