• Growth in commercial vehicle sales shows no sign of abating with June registrations up a record 24.9%, the fifth month of growth this year.
According to the SMMT, the high June registrations suggests the year-end total may hit 330,000 or more, beating last year's total of 322,259.
tight CVs saw the greatest increase with 27.0%, with Vauxhall continuing its steady ascendancy.
Truck sales were also up with an increase of 12.4%. Growth is still
strongest at the heavier end of the market with registrations over 15 tonnes, up 15% during the first half of the year.
