A YOUTH HAS been charged with the murder of a van driver who died when his vehicle crashed after a missile smashed through his windscreen.The incident happened at around 2pm last Monday (31 May) on the A41 dual carriageway in Rock Ferry, Merseyside.

Christopher McCaffrey's van was struck by a heavy object believed to have been thrown from a bridge. The impact caused him to lose control of his van and he careered into the central reservation.
