AL-KO replaces the original manufacturer's chassis with a lightweight, galvanised steel version that has the benefits of saving weight as well as improving on-road dynamics. Up to 10 different wheelbase variations are available along with two different track widths and a choice of two suspension systems, namely torsion bar or air springs.
The Auto Motive Chassis is available on LCVs from Citroen. Peugeot. Fiat, Renault, Vauxhall and VW.
