pensioner who complained about his truck being parked on the pavement.
Pavel Haltmar will remain in jail for 21 days unless his bosses in the Czech Republic decide to pay fines, costs and compensation totalling £673.99.
He was arrested on 25 February after a row with 66-year-old Sidney Cass on the A20 in Ashford. Haltmar admitted to the court assaulting Cass. criminal damage and driving without due care and attention.
Peter Holt, prosecuting, said the row erupted when Haltmar parked illegally on the pavement. Cass then attempted to take pictures of the truck.
Holt told the court: "Haltmar then drove the lorry towards him and Cass grabbed onto the windscreen wipers to stop himself going under [the truck]. Haltmar jumped out of his cab and attacked Mr Cass."
Haltmar was traced using the pictures Cass had taken.
