POLICE A RE hunting a gang who left a truck driver needing hospital care after attacking him with,probably,pepper spray.
The incident happened at 7am on 26 February as the driver was unloading at the Co-Op supermarket on Aldermoor Road, Southampton. He caught a man stealing his briefcase from his cab and pinned him against the wall, but the thief momentarily blinded him with the liquid spray, before escaping with his accomplices.
The three thieves are white and aged between 18 and 22.They were wearing a green jacket; a blue zipup jacket; and a long-sleeved cream fleece respectively.
