CLARKE INSTRUMENTS LTD, security engineers of Camberley, are introducing an improved version of their electrical spigot lock. This is a bolt-action lock, reference 8202M, that is released by electrical signal that can be remote or local, and which can be purchased with a manual over-ride.
This type of captive-bolt_ lock is used on machine guards, sliding doors and gates, cabinets, process rooms, and commercial vehicle doors. It can be remotely controlled by solenoid release of the captive bolt. There is no key so a high level of security is ensured. The automatic locking action of the solenoid armature on the bolt adds to the security.
