A SPECIAL transit tax on vehicles passing through Turkey—imposed 10 days ago—only applies to trucks from countries without a bilateral agreement with Turkey, CM was told this week. Britain has such an agreement so British operators should not have to pay the tax, worth -£225 for loaded vehicles and E100 for empties.
