• South Yorkshire Transport is to expand its successful Little Nipper minibus service with a further 50 minibuses, worth over million.
SYT has again chosen Dodge 50 Series-based Reeve Burgess minibuses to join the 39 it already operates on the service in Doncaster and Sheffield.
The company's Board is to consider the acquisition of a further 100 minibuses — so far the Dodge-based Reeve Burgess is the only minibus it operates.
The 50 new 25-seaters are on lease from Reeve Burgess and should all be in service by June. They are powered by 67kW turbocharged engines and have power steering and an automatic gearbox.
