• Ford has extended its parts exchange plan for trucks. The range of eight exchange diesels recently added to the scheme is now joined by the Ford 360 turbocharged diesel and the major assemblies for the Cummins 470 V8 engine (which was available as a power option for heavyweight D series trucks until March 1971).
The Cummins items are: cylinder heads, fuel and water pumps, compressors, fuel injectors and crankshaft dampers.
