fiORE than 50 Smith's N.C.B. electric al vehicles have been supplied during the past three years to Bolands, Ltd., Dublin, the largest bakers in Eire. In hisannual report., Mr. H. E. O'Donohoe, chairman and managing director of Bolands, stated that by replacing horsed and petrol vehicles, substantial economies in distribution had been effected.
Petrol in Eire is 9d. a gallon cheaper than in the United Kingdom.
NEW BILL " REMOVES DOUBTS"
rOLLOWING the passing of a resoluI lion by a meeting of corporate members of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Parliament has passed a Bill that has "removed doubts as to the validity of an increase of the subscriptions payable to the Institution."
The new measure regularizes the amalgamation of the Institution of Automobile Engineers with the Institution, over which some misgivings arose.
