THREE PRE-PRODUCTION models of the Leyland Electric Terrier have been bought by the Department of Industry to lend to operators "for a 1.5-year evaluation period."
I accept the 24-hour clock under protest but I refuse to
metricate time. In Britain we have a period of 11/2 years, a year-and-a-half or 18 months. When Electric Terriers are chased by live hares I might reconsider the matter, but not until then.
