Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THERE'S no need now to throw away old or damaged webbing straps as a salvage and repair service for any make of webbing straps is being offered by Ty-Rite of Basingstoke.

Established in 1975, Ty-Rite has, it claims, continuously campaigned to increase usage of webbing straps over conventional ropes and chains, citing independent tests which the company says clearly demonstrate that webbing straps control loads more securely, can be applied more quickly than ropes, provide better tensioning and cause less damage to loads. Ty-Rite points out that webbing wears gradually and visibly.

Now Ty-Rite will take worn straps, regardless of their original manufacturer, salvage ratchets and other fittings and fit new webbing to provide replacement equipment at about half the price of replacement straps.
