• Scottish haulier Munro's Transport has bought seven Leyland roadtrain tractor units and 13 new trailers as part of its £650,000 expansion programme.
The Aberdeen-based company has also invested in a new computer system to provide financial and invoicing functions as well as controlling warehouse operations, and added ten drivers and seven warehouse staff to boost its workforce to 120.
The investment programme is due to a general growth in the firm's business.
