• A company which was refused an operating licence after it failed to disclose that a director had been convicted of driving a truck without a licence had its appeal to the Transport Tribunal dismissed last week.
Judge Harold Wilson told West Yorkshire-based Bradford Cargo Terminal of Low Moor that the North Eastern Licensing Authority had acted fairly in turning down its application.
Patrick Sadd, for the company, claimed that the LA had been satisfied with everything except good repute.
