• After more than 40 years as Manchester's terminus for long-distance buses and coaches, the city's Lower Mosley Street bus station closes at midnight on Sunday May 13 to make way for redevelopment. From May 14 all coaches run by Ribble, North Western and their associated companies on the National network will operate out of the former SELNEC Chorlton Street bus station, which will still be used by SELNEC airport services.
From May 21 Yelloway Coach Services will also move into Chorlton Street.
