A HAULAGE company has been given permission to use a Suffolk industrial estate, despite objections by the town council involved.
Dickerson Transport Ltd, of Tomo Trading Estate, Stowmarket, was given consent by Mid Suffolk Council's development control sub-committee to use premises on the town's Creeting, Road industrial estate.
Stowmarket Town Council had recommended that the application be refused on env i r on mental and noise grounds and because of anticipated traffic congestion.
The Creeting Road premises will be used As a haulage depot and for warehousing and distribution.
