I am writing with regard to the vehicle conversion area of the business. I am astounded at the lack of confidence that many hauliers have in vehicles and trailers that have been modified or converted.
We strive to accommodate the expectations of people who lavish large amounts of money on equipment that is far more cost effective after it has been altered—and probably more useful. We are always heavily investing in equipment that proves the point.
A good example of vehicles that are ripe for conversion are the many surplus 4x2 tractor units which have flooded the market and offer a second lease of life or purpose when altered. We have as much backup and aftersales as many a main dealer. I would also like to destroy the myth that chassis on extended vehicles crack.
