IT was suggested by Mr. Hugh Rossi (Tory.
Hornsey) in the Commons last week that a condition of the issue of A, B or C licences should be that the applicant had sufficient parking spaceāand used it.
But he was told by Mr. Stephen Swingler, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport, that the Minister had no power to attach such conditions to carriers' licences.
