AT the Commercial Motor Show next A-1month, Girling will be exhibiting for the first time a new load-conscious hydraulic apportioning valve as the central feature of the company's stand.
The valve is a self-contained unit weighing only 10 lb. and is fully sealed against the ingress of dirt and moisture. It is connected through a rubber-bushed adjustable link to the axle in a position where the effects of road-spring wind-up are negligible.
In operation it will control hydraulic line-pressures, ensuring ideal levels of brake application in all conditions of load.
Girling will also show a comprehensive range of hydraulically operated brakes and braking equipment as well as mechanical and hydraulic servo units, hydraulic throttle controls and so on.
New Name: Drummond-Asquith Ltd. has announced that following the merger of the Asquith Machine Tool Corporation with Staveley Industries, the name of the sales organization has been changed to Staveley Asquith, Ltd.
