1 ice set of wheels chaps! These four lads from LDV lave recently returned from taking pan in the
Basque challenge; a 600mile three-day cycle ride through France. The bonus was that they raised more than .15,000 which will go to six British charities. Ian Wilson; Mak.olm Jeffries, L.DV marketing director; Robb Hampton, managing director of sponsor connect Advertising and Marketing; and Paul Jennings between them clocked up an average speed of 20mph and came 22nd out of 60 teams competing A valiant effort, as they had to battle their way through mountainous terrain in high winds, lashing rain and thunderstorms. Their spirits were kept high by the enthusiastic reception thty received _from 11w local people lining the streets and cheering the teams on. What an inspiration. It makes me want to go out to the shed, dust the cobwebs off my trusty old sit-up-and-beg Raleigh and take to the open road On the other hand it is a bit nippy out—if Foden the dog will slufi himself I'll be able to nab a proper warm of the fire.
