III AA Publishing has been busy compiling a new range of mapping products. The major new product is the "AA Street by Street" range of atlases. With four different sizes and a variety of bindings, the range covers up to 30 localities. The full-colour mapping is designed specifically for drivers, including useful landmarks and local information such as one-way streets, fuel stations, toilets and car parks.
London is covered by seven formats, from pocket size up to A3. The monster of the street atlas range is the London and South-East edition, whose 1.500 pages cover every named street in an area extending from Southampton to Felixstowe and up to Milton Keynes.
A new edition of the AA Trucker's Atlas is also available, with its 3.0 miles to the inch mapping and 1,600 marked low bridges.
Further afield, France is covered by a new range of maps at 2.8 miles to the inch, either in a single atlas or as 16 double-sided regional sheets. In both cases you also get a gazetteer and extensive town plans.
All these products are available from a variety of retail outlets, but by planning ahead and buying on-line at www.theaa.com buyers will currently receive a 20% discount on the full range and 30% on the 10 best selling street atlases.
