MR. JOHN E. M. STUBBINGS has been appointed fleet sales manager for Burton and Deakin, Ltd., Orpington, Kent. He was previously with Trojan, Ltd., Croydon.
MR. B. A. CHRISTIE Will become managing director of I.T.D., Ltd., on June 17. MR. L. A. ROCHEFORT, MR. A. C. COOPER and MR. R. J. STOKES Will become associate directors.
MR. B. C. CLARKE is Leicester City Transport department's new claims superintendent. He succeeds MR. C. A. HERBERT, who retired last month after 46 years with the department.
MR. J. F. HOOFER will succeed MR. F. H. CONWAY as secretary of the transport tutorial committee of the Institute of Transport on July 1. Mr. Conway will continue as a committee member.
MR. H. W. SptcF.a, superintendent for the past 36 years of the Canterbury central works of the East Kent Road Car Co., Ltd., has retired. He has been succeeded by his assistant, MR. R. RUSSELL.
MR. JOHN SIMON, director of the India Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., has been appointed general manager in place of MR. L. J. W. BAILEY, who, as reported last week, has taken up an appointment in Germany.
MR. G. I. McKay has been appointed Southport Corporation's rolling stock engineer in succession to MR. D. L. HYDE, who has become chief engineering assistant with the Halifax passenger transport department.
COL MERVYN E. O'GORMAN has been appointed chief engineer of the Royal Automobile Club in succession to the late MR. MAURICE FIUDLASS. MR. LESLIE WEBB, previously assistant chief engineer, has been appointed deputy.
MR. J. D. MILLNER, north London manager of Ferodo, Ltd., for the past eight years, has been appointed the company's Irish Republic manager. in Dublin. As reported last week, he has been succeeded in north London by MR. W. H. WYSE.
