T am writing with reference to the Channel 5 1 programme Truckers, transmitted on 22 February with the -tramps" remarks by Edward Stobart.
He has some cheek to refer to drivers in this context. He needs to remember when he looked like a tramp as well, which leaves him with no room to criticise others in this way. His image did not portray that he was the "owner of a multi-million-pound transport business"; he could not string two words together to make the programme worth watching. From that I get the impression that he is just the figurehead and his business is being run by others who are more articulate. He needs to bear in mind what happened to John Dee Transport some years ago. I agree with Kelvin Purcell: "That man was way out of order." Quite honestly the man wants to come into the real world.
