Commercial Motor will once again be hosting the Truckzone at this year's SED Show. Here we review the highlights visitors can expect to see...
Welcome
At Commercial Motor we've long recognised that the construction industry remains one of the biggest consumers of road transport equipment. Be it lightweight dropsides, through 4x4 pick-ups for site operation, to multi-wheeler tippers and heavy haulage tractors, the continued strength of the sector has ensured transport operators have been in strong demand. For that very reason Commercial Motor is once again hosting the Truckzone at this year's SED Show at Milton Keynes from 17 to 19 May.
As you'll see over the coming pages the Truckzone is a huge area of the show dedicated to commercial vehicles where, as well as the traditional static displays, you'll be able to see the vehicles at work in a number of demo areas.
In our special Truckzone supplement we're giving you a sneak preview of what's to be expected in the Truckzone. For details of how to pre-register and avoid the queues on the day check out the website: www.sed.co.uk. Andy Salter Editor, Commercial Motor The line-up of exhibitors in the Truckzone this year covers all the major truck, van and bodybuilders in the sector, with 23 companies so far confirmed with stands. The Commercial Motor team will be there as usual and this year we've added a new feature to the zone, The Edge. Sponsored by Nissan, this is a punishing obstacle course for 4x4 vehicles giving you the opportunity to test, as well as see how off-roaders from Mazda, Fourtec, Nissan and Ford cope when asked to really go about their business.
