CONTINENTAL coach holidays offered by National Travel and Bee-Line Roadways of Middlesbrough for 1977 are being marketed under the joint banner of Bee-Line National.
The brochure offers 600 separate departures covering 30 resorts in 10 countries. For journeys to the Mediterranean countries coaches based on the continent will be used by Bee-Line but for shorter journeys coaches owned by National will be used throughout.
The National express network within Britain is utilised to feed tour passengers to the main departure point at Victoria Coach Station in London. These are subject to "regional joining supplements" varying from nothing for some south-east towns to £14 from Scotland.
Final prices for all the towns will be fixed eight weeks prior to departure but before this are liable to change in accordance with the exchange rate at that time.
Bee-Line Chairman Trevor Barker said that its research had shown a steady resurgence of demand for continental coach tours. He said that in accordance with the passengers' wishes no overnight journeys were to be made on the continent.
