• Scania's first UK distributor, B and W Motors Ltd, has moved from its old premises at Derry Street in Wolverhampton, to a new headquarters on the Pensnett Trading Estate at Brierley Hill, Staffordshire (tel: Kingswinford 70231).
The new premises occupy a 51,000 sq ft area which includes a parts department, servicing and unit reconditioning area and a new vehicle preparation section.
The company first started importing Scanias in 1966 when 75 units were sold. The order book for 1972 was 250.
