GKN EXPANDS • GKN Autoparts has bought M&H Continental Auto Spares which trades from branches in Oldham and Stockport. Its Hyde premises will shortly be re-opened as a GKN exhaust and components operation. Andrew McCracken, previously joint owner of M&H, has been appointed general manager.

GERMAN PARTNER FOR THOMPSON JEWFIT • Thompson Jewitt International has appointed Amstlader Vereinigung as its sole partner in the city of Nuemberg and throughout northern Bavaria.
Arnstlader will be operating a twice-weekly service to and from the area. UK departures begin on Sundays and Tuesdays, with return services leaving Nuemberg on Tuesdays and Fridays.
