• The Scottish Bus Group's largest subsidiary, Western Scottish, went up for sale last week. It is the eighth SBG company to be privatised.
The Kilmarnock-based company operates more than 660 buses in the south-west of Scotland and carries over 65 million passengers.
It has 13 depots and nearly 2,000 staff. Last year it turned over 03.7m.
Deals still have to be finalised for two other SBG subsidiaries, Bluebird Northern and Kelvin Central.
