• A service bulletin to all trailer manufacturers and users of trailers equipped with Rubery Owen-Rockwell TM and TH Series axles has been issued.
The makers emphasize the need for using cones on the wheel studs fitted to these axles at all times. They also stress the importance. of maintaining the recommended torque setting of 350 Ib.ft. on the wheel nuts and say that particular attention should be paid to these items during the first 500 miles of service.
Copies of the relevant bulletins, numbers 3 and 4, are obtainable from Rubery Owen-Rockwell Ltd., Service Dept., Cleveleys Road, Warrington, Lancs.
