which is expected to result in total ownership later in the year.
Partek Cargotec is the largest of four divisions in the Finnish Partek Group, which has a turnover of 2905m. With the takeover of Sisu the group's turnover will double to 21.7bn.
Marshall, based in Cambridge, is a 2350m company with interests in commercial vehicles, cars, buses and the aerospace industry. The company owns and produces the Bedford range of trucks for export, turning out 400 vehicles last year. In addition, Marshall is refurbishing 1,100 double-decker MCW buses for Travel West Midlands in a deal worth 225m.
Between the iwo cornponies they are confident that the new refuse collection vehicle will have a big impact on the utility industry at home and overseas.
