THE Shor-Flow 1100 Hot Mk I is a hot water machine which employs a 2 kW three-phase 110 volt electric motor to drive a threepiston pump designed to deliver 816Iit/ hour (3gpm) at 7,600kN /sqm (1,100psi).
A 250,000 BTU Nu-way oil burner is claimed to maintain a continuous water temperature of approximately 90° C.
Direct chemical pick-up is included drawing the chemical into the system on the inlet side of the pump for application at full pressure.
Weighing 218kg (480Ib) and standing 790mm (31in) high, the machine is provided with rubber wheels for ease of movement.
A cold water version of this model is available weighing only 81kg (2001b).
Two other cold water machines are available — a petrol model with roll-over bars intended for use on rough sites, and the Maxi, a smaller free standing unit weighing 60kg (1331b) which can be supplied in kit form.
