THE Tennant range of sweepers is large and starts with tl smaller 140 low-cost model available in a petrol or an elect' version which sweep a path 0.74m (2.4ft) wide at a rate 3,500sqm (37,500 sqft). an hour.
Next one up, the 42E, is also a walk-behind model; with t side-brush it will clear a path 0.86m (2.8ft) wide at a rate 4,000sqm (43,000sqft) per hour and is available with electr petrol or lpg options.
The smallest of the rider type is the 220 with hydrau drive to the brushes; it will clear a path 1.19m (3.9ft) wide! to 10,000sqm (108,000sqft) per hour.
The 240 is a versatile model and is described as the mc complete rider-sweeper, being fully hydraulic powered by 14.9kW (20bhp) petrol, lpg or electric motor. A path width 1.346m (4.41ft) means it can cover up to 13,000sq (140,000sqft) per hour.
The 260 has reinforced frame, dust proofing for ti 14.9kW (20bhp) motor and is intended for dust concentrat areas and similar tough jobs.
Many of the Tennant machines can be easily converted f use as automatic scrubbers.
