• A West Yorkshire haulage boss jailed for nine years for importing cannabis from Madrid has had his conviction upheld by the Criminal Appeal Court. Glynn Davies, of Broad lane, South Elmsall was sentenced at Leeds Crown court last June.
Davies' haulage business ran to and from Madrid; one of its trailers stopped by Customs contained the cannabis.
