• An American product designed to make life safer and easier for tipper operators is now available in the UK. Quicksilver is a polymer tipper body lining, with a low friction surface that prevents load sticking during tipping, allowing lower tip angles to be used. It has an operating temperature range from 80°C to 18CPC, making it equally suitable for frozen materials and hot asphalt. Despite its light weight, it is claimed to have the abrasion resistance of stainless steel, and its nonabsorbent nature means it can be easily cleaned between different load types.
