Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Trailer information Module (TIM) being shown on KnorrBremse's stand is an added value feature for the company's Trailer Electronic Braking System (TEBS).

The system, mounted on the side of the trailer, is designed to help fleet operators maximise the earning power of their vehicles by providing ready access to trailer information such as mileage, trip distance, service interval status, brake wear and brake system diagnostics. Brake system fault finding is made easy using plain english information without the need for a laptop or specialist software.

The TIM system incorporates a four-line backlit display with navigation keypad and has an internal battery back-up to provide information even when the trailer is uncoupled.

Shown as a concept product at last year's show, the TIM system is now being supplied to a number of UK trailer manufacturers.
