ANOTHER large UK company is specialist vehicle engineering group Reynolds Boughton, which makes a wide range of waste-handling and military logistics equipment along with special vehicle conversions.
Among all this is the ubiquitous Kwikcova fully automatic container sheeting system, which uses patented side arms and retractable mechanisms that keep with the legal width limit.
There are two versions: the standard CM range and CMd, which is designed for low containers.
Last month, Reynolds Boughton purchased the intellectual rights to the products of Gloucesterbased Trio along with its designs, manufacturing equipment and processes.
The result is that well-known brand names such as Telehoist and MacLift, which were previously manufactured by Trio Skips & Hooks, will continue to be produced and sold there by the new company Reynolds Boughton Trio, Gloucester.
Despite the current economic gloom, this is a major consolidation that will help provide some security for the existing Gloucester workforce, as well as extending Reynolds Boughton's product portfolio.
