THE ROAD Haulage Association is sponsoring a course on management in the road haulage industry at Ashridge management college from November 4 to 9.
The course will offer delegates a practical and intensive opportunity to look at customer service, financial control and the need to get every member of the workforce to give their best.
Through discussion lectures and case studies, interviewing, industrial relations and marketing will also be covered.
The course is open to nonRHA members, too. Course specifications, programme and application forms are available from the training manager at the RHA head office. The fee is £695 plus vat and includes accommodation and tuition.
The course is approved by the Road Transport Training Board for training grant at the status rate.
