• Leeds-based haulier Archbold Freightage has invested £45,000 in the latest washing equipment.
A Strong Trailer Wash and an Atlantis Water Recycling Plant has been installed at Archbold's Birch depot in Manchester. The latter is particularly good news for local riven; and streams.
Towering some 5m high, the wash will operate continuously and take just six minutes to clean a 3.6m trailer. "Archbold has invested in the best technology on offer so that its vehicles will be excellent ambassadors for the company out on the road," says depot manager Garry O'Gara.
