ANDOVER TRANSPORT has signed a 10-year contract with pallet network Palletways to cover SP postcodes. The Hampshire haulier is taking over from collapsed firm 303 Group, which was dissolved on 30 August, according to records filed at Companies House.
MD Jason Horner says he was approached by Palletways to cover the contract while 303 Group was going through administration. Following the caretaking period, Andover was offered the contract on a permanent basis.
The deal follows the renewal of Andover’s contract to cover the SO postcodes, which it signed in September 2010.
See next week’s CM for an interview with Horner on life at the firm after last year’s management buyout.
