Shuttle
A ROUND-the-clock Lando Luton Airport shuttle coac starts on November 1, and will still be within scope road service licensing.
Seamarks Bros Ltd, of Luto which has operated on behalf major tour operators for years, is opening the service all passengers, with coach leaving every 90 minutes.
Company assistant managir director Doreen Colthorpe to CM that the service will I operated with a fleet of new 5 seat DAF coaches, and that ti £2 single fares will be collect( by Seamarks staff at Luton.
There will be no pre-bookir facilities for the service, whil will operate from London's nE Kings Cross coach terminal, ar Seamarks guarantee that ad( tional coaches will be providi where a vehicle fills before scheduled departure time.
The service is too short come within the scope of II 1980 Transport Act's freedo clauses, and Ms Colthorpe sa that the new laws had not N any bearing on the company decision.
