THE NISSAN CV RANGE has just got bigger, following the launch of the NV400. The all-new van, which is a replacement for Nissan’s Interstar heavy van range, is based on the new Master from alliance partner Renault, albeit with heavily revised front-end styling.
The Nissan Leaf has also made its debut at the CV Show. Electric vehicles are increasingly relevant for all businesses thanks to extremely low running costs and zero benefit in kind taxation, in addition to the obvious environmental benefits. The Leaf will be the platform for Nissan’s future ranges of electric vehicles, possibly including light commercials. Nissan LCV sales and marketing director Francis Bleasdale says: “The NV400 adds the finishing touch to the top of our ever-increasing CV range and the Leaf, Nissan’s purpose-built 100% electric car, is proving a real talking point at the show.”
