• Metalair has developed a new road/rail pressurised tank container and won an order from Scandinavian Rail Cargc BV for 25 of them.
Manufactured from marine quality aluminium, the 50.5m3, 2.8m high container with its unladen weight of 3.5 tonnes on a 9.14m (30ft) fram module will be used to transport powdered or granular products on contract for BASF, Dow, Shell, ICI and BP between UK/Europe and Scandinavia.
