Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Al Trailers of Maldon Essex has supplied Roystonbased haulier Gary Smith with a sliding bogie skeletal semitrailer which can be used with tipping containers.

The semi-trailers have an extendable frame which allows a 6.9m axle spread for running at 38 tonnes with a two-plus-three axle configuration.

When the rear axles are closed, the 6.1m Tamplin TipKit container locates at the rear end for tipping.

Made from a specially constructed steel frame, the TipKit is fitted with a large Edbro DS16 ram, rated at 26 tonnes, giving a tip angle of 490.

The units can be secured to any semi-trailer equipped with twistlocks. When removed, the trailer can be used in the conventional manner.
